Whites Woods Nature Center is a recreational area in Indiana, Pennsylvania. It consists of 245 total acres. Whites Woods Trail is a 2.5 mile loop. The trail is rated as moderate and offers a number of activity options. Dogs are also able to use this trail. With miles of trails and wildlife Whites' Woods contains many trees native to Pennsylvania. Oaks, Maples, Pines, Tulip Poplar and Magnolias are among the many trees common at this area. It’s a wonderful escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. Open from sunrise to sunset daily, the trails are enjoyed by many all year round. There is an entrance into the woods on North 12th Street, or you can enter through the adjoining IUP Co-op park.
