Little Penguins

Sidney Crosby and the Pittsburgh Penguins are pleased to announce the return of Sidney Crosby’s Little Penguins Learn to Play Hockey program for its tenth season.

One thousand Pittsburgh area children will receive FREE head-to-toe hockey equipment this season, thanks to the combined efforts of Sidney Crosby, the Pittsburgh Penguins, Penguins Foundation, CCM and Dick’s Sporting Goods. More than 6,200 children have already participated since the program’s inception in 2008-09.
Log on to https://www.nhl.com/penguins/community/learn-to-play and click on the yellow "Register Now" tab for registration instructions.  We also encourage any parent interested in the program to call either Ryan Shaffer (Arena Manager) or Phil Broskin (Hockey Operation) for a full explanation of the program.
Boys and girls, ages 5-8, enrolled in the program will be introduced to the game of hockey and receive the following free, brand-new, head-to-toe CCM SC87 Crosby-endorsed hockey equipment:
