Alpha Hockey
Prerequisite: Pre-Alpha of Learn to Skate
Our Alpha Hockey program is designed for aspiring hockey players looking to take their first step into the game of hockey after completing the Pre-Alpha Level in Learn to Skate. There is a strong emphasis on individual skating skills, while being introduced to wearing hockey equipment. There will be no sticks or pucks, as this level is designed for getting the player comfortable skating in hockey gear. We offer leased hockey equipment for a small deposit fee, that will be returned whenever the equipment is turned back in.

Each session is held every Thursday from 5:50pm-6:35pm.
A completed registration form and payment are required to hold your spot.
Please note that all skaters must have completed Pre-Alpha Level of Learn to Skate in order to participate in the Alpha Hockey program.
Full hockey equipment is REQUIRED in order to participate (no sticks or pucks). Our full service pro-shop located inside of the arena has all of the latest merchandise.
All new players will need to purchase the following to participate in Alpha Hockey:
Hockey Skates, Hockey Gloves, Hockey Pants, Mouth Guard, Neck Guard, Helmet, Hockey Socks, Shin Guards, Chest Protector, and Elbow Pads.

If you're buying skates for the first time, remember they need sharpening before use—we can handle that too! Our Hockey Shop, located right in the arena, has everything you need, from the latest equipment to essentials.
