Baseball Fields
Discover our four premier baseball fields, the Charlie Hogan Field, Kiwanis Field, Keystone Rehab Stadium and the S&T Bank Field at the White Township Recreation Complex, each boasting lush grass infields ideal for various levels of play. Facilities include a concession stand, clean restrooms with city water, and ample parking space. George Lenz Soccer Fields
The George Lenz Soccer Fields serve as a vibrant hub for soccer in the community, hosting Indiana Area Junior High School Boys & Girls Soccer teams, IASB and ICFC teams. Available for rent, these well-maintained fields support local soccer activities and tournaments. With our rental service, you can ensure your soccer events are a success. Basketball Courts
Our basketball courts are open to the public for free play, providing a great space for pickup games, practice, or leisure. If you’re looking to reserve the courts for events or leagues, we offer affordable rates for daily or hourly bookings. This is an excellent opportunity to organize community basketball events in a friendly and accessible environment.
Eagles Rest Pavilion
The Eagles Rest Pavilion, located atop our recreation complex, accommodates up to 80 guests and features picnic tables, grills, a sand volleyball court, and a campfire grill. It’s ADA-accessible and provides panoramic views.
The Upper Senior Area Pavilion, which seats about 25 people, is only available as an add-on to the Eagles Rest rental. This covered, ADA-accessible pavilion includes 2 picnic tables and access to facilities for Bocce Ball, Cornhole, Horseshoes, and Chess, though game equipment must be rented separately – and is only available if you rent the Upper Senior Area Pavilion.
Disc Golf Course
Enjoy our 9-hole, Par 3 Disc Golf Course set on a quarter acre of the recreation grounds, offering a challenging yet enjoyable experience for all ages. Open all year from dawn to dusk, this course is free to play and occasionally hosts special events. For those interested in reserving the course for private events or leagues, we provide comprehensive booking options.
Tennis Courts
Tennis enthusiasts of all levels are welcome at our facility, featuring five outdoor courts. These are not only home to the Indiana Area High School teams but also open for public use. Play Time Park
Built by White Township Recreation, this playground offers a safe, engaging space for children of all ages. It’s more than just a playground; it’s a place where friendships are formed, and imaginations soar. Visit us and see why our playground is a beloved part of the White Township Recreation Complex.
Walking Paths
Explore the scenic trails of the White Township Recreation Complex with our inviting walking paths. We have two loops: a shorter .33-mile path and a longer .88-mile trail, both paved and perfect for a leisurely stroll. Dogs are always welcome but must be kept on leashes. As you wander, enjoy the surrounding wildflower meadow, which adds a splash of natural beauty to your visit, creating an ideal setting for a peaceful day outdoors.
