Our Skating Academy/IPA (Indiana, PA) Skate Team Coaches
Discover the world of figure skating at S&T Bank Arena. From beginner basics to advanced techniques, our team specializes in nurturing talent at every level.
Private lessons are available for skaters looking to advance their skills in a one-on-one setting during a Freestyle session (Ice Time fees are $8.00 for 30-minutes for Non-Club Members or $6.00 for 30-minutes for Club Members), with coaching rates ranging from $15 to $35 per 30-minute lesson, depending on the coach’s experience.
*The Freestyle Ice Time Fee must be paid online to the arena prior to stepping on the ice and starting the lesson.
*The Coach’s Fee is paid directly to the coach in most cases.
*Club Member = IPA Skate Team Member with dues paid in FULL.

Meet Our Skating Academy Coaching Staff
Stephanie Vitalbo has been skating since 1996, including four years performing with Disney On Ice from 2013–2017 on the productions 100 Years of Magic and Frozen. She has been coaching since 2009 and, since 2018, has served as the Skating Director at White Township Recreation / S&T Bank Arena, where she continues to share her experience and passion for the sport while supporting skaters of all ages and skill levels.

Gabriella previously skated when she was younger before making a renewed return to the sport in 2019. She has assisted with our Learn to Skate program since 2019 and has been coaching private lessons since 2022. Gabriella is currently in her senior year at Indiana University of Pennsylvania, where she is majoring in Nursing and minoring in Exercise Science

Zoe has been figure skating since 2014. She volunteered with our youth skating programs before becoming a coach in 2023. Zoe is beginning her sophomore year at University of Pittsburgh at Johnstown, where she is majoring in Mechanical Engineering.

Jordyn previously skated for 17 years when she was younger before returning to the ice in 2024. During her skating career, she competed for 9 of those years and passed her U.S. Figure Skating Juvenile Moves in the Field test. She has been coaching private lessons and assisting with our programs since 2025. Jordyn is a recent graduate of Indiana University of Pennsylvania, where she majored in Media Production and minored in Political Science, and is currently pursuing her graduate degree.

Hailey has been skating on and off since 2014 and began her involvement with our youth ice programs as a volunteer before transitioning into a coaching role in 2018. She has been coaching on and off since 2023 as a private lesson instructor. Hailey is currently pursuing a career in the psychology field.

Kierstin previously skated for 3 years before making a return to the ice in 2024. She began her coaching journey in 2025, assisting with our youth programs and teaching private lessons. She is currently a junior at Indiana University of Pennsylvania, where she is majoring in Natural Science with a concentration in Pre-Dentistry.

Ashton has been skating since 2020 and assisting with our youth programs since 2023. She has been coaching since 2025. Ashton is currently a junior at Indiana High School.
