Learn To Play Hockey
Prerequisite: Alpha Level Learn To Skate
Our Learn To Play Hockey program is designed for aspiring hockey players looking to take their first step into the game of hockey after completing the Alpha Level in Learn to Skate. There is still a strong emphasis on individual skating skills, but skaters will also be introduced to hockey equipment, skills and drills.

Each session is 8 weeks long and held every Friday from 6:30 PM - 7:30 PM.
A completed registration form and payment are required to hold your spot.
Registrations are NOT accepted after the second class of a session
Please note that all skaters must have completed the Alpha Level of the Learn to Skate program in order to participate in the Learn to Play program.
Full hockey equipment is REQUIRED in order to participate. Kelly’s Hockey Shop is our full service pro-shop located inside of the arena and has all of the latest merchandise.
All new players will need to purchase the following to participate in Learn to Play:
Hockey Skates, Hockey Stick (Cut & Taped), Hockey Gloves, Hockey Pants, Mouth Guard, Neck Guard, Helmet, Hockey Socks, Shin Guards, Chest Protector, and Elbow Pads.
Our team is ready to help you choose the right gear, with expert measuring and brand suggestions. If you're buying skates for the first time, remember they need sharpening before use—we can handle that too! Kelly’s Hockey Shop, located right in the arena, has everything you need, from the latest equipment to essentials.
