Jump & Spin

Prerequisites: Passed Freestyle 1

Designed for skaters who have successfully passed Freestyle 1 and are progressing through Freestyle 2, our Jump & Spin program is the perfect supplement to Figure Skating 201. This specialized program focuses on the development of more advanced jumps and spins, particularly those that require full-ice setups and refined technique.

Skaters will begin each session with light, jump- and spin-specific warm-up exercises, gradually building up to full-speed execution on large patterns. Emphasis is placed on attention to detail, technical accuracy, and proper body positions to ensure safe and effective progression.

This is a technique-focused, element-based program, concentrating on solo elements. Skaters will receive in-depth instruction on individual jumps and spins, while also being introduced to combination jumps and spins as their skills develop.

Whether you’re polishing your loop jump or beginning to master a flying camel, the Jump & Spin program provides the foundation and support needed to take your skating to the next level.
