Unlock the potential for fun, learning, and growth with White Township Recreation’s dynamic youth programming. Designed to inspire and engage children and teenagers, our diverse range of activities and events cater to various interests and ages. From sports leagues to educational workshops and creative arts programs, there’s something for every young mind to explore and enjoy.

Tennis Camp (3 Days)
- June 23rd - 25th
- 10:30 AM - 12:30 PM
- WTRC - Tennis Courts
- Ages 7-16
Join us for a three-day tennis camp with local head varsity tennis coach, Matt Neil, and varsity players from both the boys and girls teams. Participants will learn the fundamentals of tennis and practice the different shots including forehands, backhands, serves, and volleys. This co-ed program will be split into age-reflective categories and is open to players of all ability levels; no experience required. Bring your own racket if possible. Some equipment and a light snack will be provided.
Please Note: All classes will be held outdoors, with an option for indoor turf option, if bad weather.

Intro to Lacrosse

Discover One of the Fastest Growing Sports! Join our introductory, non-contact lacrosse program designed for beginners who want to explore this exciting sport. Participants will learn fundamental skills such as passing, catching, throwing, cradling, and stick handling, along with an introduction to the rules of the game. Each session combines skill-building instruction with fun activities that reinforce learning in a safe, supportive environment—perfect for those looking to see if lacrosse is the right fit for them. environment.

Dek Hockey
- Thursdays | July 10th - 31st

- Ages 8-17
Enjoy the glorious game of hockey year-round in a unique outdoor environment! No prior experience is needed for this Dek Hockey program, where we scrimmage, develop skills, and most importantly—have fun. Whether you’re brand new to the game or looking to stay sharp in the off-season, this inclusive and fast-paced program is perfect for players of all levels.

In this class, we’ll learn how to study, observe, and draw people with confidence! Using age-appropriate knowledge of anatomy and proportions, students will discover helpful tips and tricks to make figure drawing easier and more fun. This beginner-friendly class welcomes young artists of all skill levels and drawing styles. Whether you’re just starting out or looking to improve your people-drawing skills, this is the perfect place to grow your creativity!
